At this year’s Leadership Day of MA10, around 400 leaders came together to reflect, exchange ideas, and look towards the future. The event, wonderfully moderated by Daniela Soykan-Tober, offered a wealth of inspiring lectures, discussions, and creative moments – and I had the pleasure of visually accompanying the day through Graphic Recording.
The day began with a Come Together over a cozy breakfast, followed by the opening by Karin Broukal (Head of the Vienna Kindergartens) and Vice Mayor Christoph Wiederkehr. Ali Mahlodji captivated the audience with his keynote, providing many thought-provoking insights on leadership and reminding us all that successful relationships and a focus on positive reinforcement are the keys to success. I translated these powerful messages live into images and captured the key points for everyone.
In the morning, we continued with exciting interview sessions, where Karin Broukal and Kurt Burger discussed the shared leadership vision and engaged the audience in discussions on current topics. During lunch and coffee breaks, participants had repeated opportunities to network and revisit the content through the Graphic Recording images. The afternoon brought reflections on past joint successes with Brigitta Schwarz and Karin Broukal, as well as humorous highlights from the cabaret by Otmar Kastner, who brought out the vibrant core of the leaders and got the whole room dancing.
I am pleased that through my visualizations, I was able to creatively summarize the multifaceted topics of the day and make important discussions visible for the participants. It was an inspiring day that placed collaboration and a shared leadership approach at the forefront – and I am glad that I could contribute to the success of the event through my work!
